All this graduation shit has me all feely and stuff, and I was literally sitting on the stairs cause I’m not really part of the family that’s visiting, I’m like that adopted asian kid in a family of redheads. When they come I’m literally told to go upstairs and not come down till they leave. So my stepsister and mom and step-dadgrandparentsjustfuckingeverybody are taking pictures and getting all sobby and sappy and my stepdad is all cheery and hugging his daughter and all the sudden I just start crying and I’m all ‘THESEFEELS!’ all because of my dad. Teh fuck?
I hate my dad.
Like seriously, I hate him. For everything he did to me and shit and I just don’t give a shit about him. My aunt asked me last week if I missed my dad. My response? ‘Sure.’
My real response, you know the one you don’t say out loud? I’m glad he’s gone. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of the things these past two years if he were still around.
And there I was on the stairs all crying because I wanted my dad to be at my fucking graduation. Shit. I can tell my graduation is going to suck right now.
And I’m sure the few people who read this for god knows what reason are thinking ‘What is this girl talking about? You know she doesn’t hate her dad, why is she being such a whiny bitch?’ Cause I know that’s what I’d say before.
But no. I don’t think you understand. No one does.
Fuck my feels. Now I’m all angry and crying and depressed and I just want a hug…….and some taco bell.
